Some history

Like many transalpine families from antiquity to the Renaissance the Maïas moved to Lyon at the beginning of the 20th century and became not just builders but one of the three biggest local construction companies during the post-war period. The Gruys - riders, fighters and travellers – settled along the roads in Flanders, Hungary and the Americas. From the Eastern forests to the “Hill which Prays”, Fourvière in Lyon, MAÏA Group President Christophe GRUY continues to write the Gruy and Maïa saga.
